On the Pilgrimage Path, there are various crosses that mark holy places, local meeting points, and crossroads.  The Basque cross at the right displays a Basque national symbol in the center.

This cross marks a pathway fork in the Corbières region of the Pyrenees. Attached to the center of the cross is a metal plaque enameled with a colorful abstract design.

This worn stone cross surprised me as a trudged along a forest path.
